DMZ

DMZ guide

Deploy, loot, finish an order, extract. Die and you drop what you carried, aside from a secure slot.

From my notes. I built this from the official DMZ page, the FOB guide and the Hajin deep dive, then stopped where those posts stop. I did not add Tarkov-style insurance rules that Activision did not write.

The match

Up to 20 squads of up to 3 players, so 60 people. Assimilation can take a squad to 4. Solo is allowed. The map is the Hajin exclusion zone, with dynamic rain and snow and a threat level.

Objectives include story missions, dynamic operations, side ops, HVTs and free roam. Vehicles named in the deep dive include a camper, sedan, Grizzly, Dreadnought, Polaris, LTV, cargo truck, D50, train, tram, RHIB, helicopter and Monarch.

FOB and traits

The FOB holds operators, orders, stash, firing range, survival kits, a bounty board, a 3D printer at level 2, a boss board after the second order, a vendor at level 5, a gunsmith at level 10, a dog-tag case at level 20 and progression out to level 70.

Three trait trees: Warfighter, Scout, Survivalist. 66 traits, 18 points per operator, prestige up to 3 times. Recommended builds are on best traits. Orders are indexed on all orders.
