Three different scores, three different samples. None of them is a user score this site invented.
From my notes. I opened the Metacritic page, the IGN review and the Steam store review line. SteamDB's 142,356 figure on a related chart is a Twitch peak, not a Steam player count. I am keeping those apart.
Scores
Metascore 84 from 10 critics, 100 percent positive, on the page checked today. IGN's campaign review is 8/10 and mentions about 7 hours. Steam's store line was 90 percent of 2,920 reviews. An earlier Chinese write-up cited 81 percent; the store had moved by the time I looked. Both can be true on different days.
Campaign praise clusters on the set pieces and the two-lead structure. Complaints in the same reviews are about length and familiarity. I am not adding an aggregate I calculated myself.
Compare
MW3's English Steam reviews were 45 percent of 10,862 on a page checked the same day. Black Ops 7's were 35 percent of 2,514. Those are different games. See versus MW3 and versus Black Ops 7.
