Game Pass
Is Modern Warfare 4 on Game Pass?
No. It is not on Xbox Game Pass today. Activision says Holiday 2027.
From my notes. I read the 23 October intel post rather than a subscription tile. The sentence is Holiday 2027, not 'about a year' and not 'day one'. Game8's 'about a year later' is a paraphrase. I am using Activision's season name and not converting it into a calendar day they did not publish.
The launch answer
Buying the game is required on 23 October 2026 if you want to play on Xbox, PC, PlayStation or Switch 2. Game Pass Core, Standard, Ultimate and PC Game Pass do not include Modern Warfare 4 at launch. A Game Pass logo on an Xbox store redirect is not the same as this game being in the catalog.
Holiday 2027 is the published window. No month or day was attached. When a date appears, it should be added here with the post's URL. Until then, store purchases are the path.
What Game Pass will not change
Platform support stays PS5, Xbox Series, PC and Switch 2. Game Pass does not add a PS4 or Xbox One version. Cross-play and cross-progression are already part of the game, including Switch 2, per Activision's Switch 2 note.
Price while you wait is on editions. Standard is $69.99 in the US listings checked today.
