Standard vs Vault
MW4 price and editions
Standard $69.99. Vault $99.99. The upgrade cited across store notes is $30. This page is about the price, not the character.
From my notes. I put the Activision editions article next to the PlayStation $69.99 product and the Steam page. The three agree on a paid Standard edition. Vault's item list uses Activision's own nouns: operator packs, signature weapons, BlackCell, CP, and the Inner Circuit M4. Captain Price, the character, is a different search. His page is linked below so the two do not get mixed.
What each edition includes
Standard is the campaign, multiplayer and DMZ. Vault, at $99.99, adds two operator packs, a signature weapon collection of five weapons, one season of BlackCell, 20 tier skips, 1,100 CP, a DMZ deployment bonus, the Hunter Killer skin, Gilded Pearl camo and the Inner Circuit M4. Wording shifts slightly between the game site and support; the support article is the one to trust if a store tile disagrees.
Some regions show a 10 percent discount in Game8's edition write-up. I did not see that discount on the US PlayStation page I opened, so treat it as regional, not universal. Digital pre-order cosmetics are listed on pre-order bonuses.
Price is not Captain Price
Searches for 'price' also mean Captain John Price. His role and the ending of his story are on Captain Price, behind a spoiler warning. Nothing in the Vault edition is a story spoiler.
Game Pass is not a third edition at launch. The date Activision gave is Holiday 2027. Read the Game Pass answer before you wait on a subscription.
