The new integration is a Season 1 item. Today you are on the existing Warzone client.
From my notes. I read Activision's September note on the operator toggle and carry-forward weapons. I did not find a verified click-path for 'jump straight to Warzone', so that UI claim stays off the page. Season 1's calendar day of 6 November 2026 is reported, not printed on that note.
At launch
Buying MW4 does not swap you onto a new battle-royale map this morning. Optional Warzone content could be skipped at preload. Legacy weapons are described as a five-attachment version in the carry-forward note.
An operator skin toggle lets you choose which skin shows. Camo progress is shared with multiplayer and DMZ, per the launch patch notes.
Season 1
The new Warzone build is tied to Season 1. One outlet dates Season 1 to 6 November 2026. Ranked is also only a reported Season 1 feature. See ranked and news.

Is the new Warzone out with MW4?
Not on 23 October 2026. It is attached to Season 1.
Can I skip the Warzone download?
Preload notes say Warzone content is optional. They do not publish how many gigabytes that saves.
When is Season 1?
Reported as 6 November 2026. Not confirmed on the official note I used.
